DaveHCoaching will only collect information that we need to provide a safe, enjoyable service to you.

 

Sharing your personal data

Your data is only shared where it needs to be, for example:

  • A Third Party Provider where required to provide specialist skills or support with training / assessment delivery

  • British Canoeing Awarding Body / Paddles Up Training for registration / certification / verification purposes required for training and assessment

  • Regulatory Purposes

 

Personal Details

The below is not an exhaustive list but covers the most commonly asked for information. This information is required for booking purposes and for completing course / assessment registration with British Canoeing Awarding Body:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Date of birth

  • Contact number

  • Paddle UK (or other Home Nation) Membership Number (if a member)

  • Email address

  • Address

  • Medical conditions / requirements / medication, including allergies

  • Next of Kin (NOK) Name

  • NOK relationship

  • NOK emergency contact number

 

Photographic / Video / Voice Recordings.

As part of your course / assessment it may be necessary to capture elements for verification purposes. This will be done through Photographic, Video or Voice recording evidence. This data will be shared with British Canoeing Awarding Body / Paddles Up Training only for these purposes. Once verification has been completed this evidence will be deleted by the Provider, Paddles Up Training and British Canoeing Awarding Body.

To help publicise training and courses, photos may be used on the Providers website and other social media platforms that the Provider uses. You will have the option to opt out of your photos being used at time of booking.

 

Storage of data.

The security of your information is really important to both DaveHCoaching and you.

Data is typically stored in one of two ways, either electronically or paper.

  • Where data is stored electronically, this is kept on an encrypted file.

  • Where data is stored on paper, this is kept in a locked cabinet.

All data is only stored for as long as necessary.
